You are reading now the words of an Israeli who owned numerous hookahs (Nargila).
It really depends, you can get a cheap one made from tin for around 60 shekels ($15US) and you can get a more expensive one made from stainless steel for around 100-200 shekels ($26-50US). The price can go above that because usually the stainless steel ones are also molded, shaped and ornated.
I would recommend not doing like most americans I know and buying a tin one thinking they made a good deal. In transit the tin can dent as well as get punctured, after much use it also blocks and rusts.
