Do i need a visa to go to Romania?

Hello,

i have a finnish passport, yet i live in the U.S. and Estonia for the summer (now). i want to (have to) go to Romania next week and need to get a visa fast. But first of all do I need one? The Romanian embassy here hangs up every time I start speaking english... so i cant find out from them.
Hi Kinsco,

Both Finland and Romania are a part of the EU which means you can excercise your right of free movement. However if your length of stay is more than 3 months then you will need to inform Romanian Immigration of your presence in the country and that you are excercising your right of free movement under the EU treaty..
Citizens of Finland do not need a visa to visit Romania as a tourist:

The Finnish EU passport gives you the right to enter, reside, and work in every country of the European Union. Romania has joined the Union in 2007, hence EU law is applied.
